We are thrilled to present an adaptation of Gioachino Rossini’s Cinderella as part of the 2025 OPERA Iowa season. Rossini’s version of the classic fairytale is a vocal and comedic romp! A wise magician and a stepfather replace the fairy godmother and wicked stepmother, but the nasty stepsisters, Prince Charming and a glass slipper prove that this is the fairytale we all know and love.
